Thanks Lisa! I want to do 150 in 5 minutes. Might be too much of a jump. I might just move up to a heavier bell.

Regina,
I got the method from "Enter the kettlebell".
Think of a ladder. It has rungs on it.
If I am going to clean and presses and pullups and do 5 ladders with 3 rungs on each it will look like this:
1 c & P left arm 1 c & p right arm 1 pullup
This is one rung
followed by (no rest) 2 c & p left 2 c & p right 2 pullups
followed by (no rest) 3 c & p left 3 c & p right 3 pullups
I have just completed onedladder with 3 rungs. If am going to do 5 ladders I have to go through the circuit 4 more times.
I hope this helps.
Best, Rob

Rob, They have that body pump class here at my gym as well..only its called group power. I am not a fan of that class.I prefer double kb work to the barbell.

Is body pump stuff the kind of stuff that Cathy Freidrich does on TV?

I did bodypump with my wife. She said I would be bored compared to kettlebells. The staff at the gym wanted to get my feedback compared to kettlebells. My wife was right.
I keep my bells at the local Gold's gym. Most people are intimidated. I have been trying to convert some of the members but change is hard for most people.

Regina,
I agree with you. I wanted to try the class so I was not dismissing it just out of hand.

Kettlebells are a hard sell.
I was training a couple in a country club fitness center on Sat. and the women in the center were very interested in the KB training. They had never seen it before and seemed very eager to know about it. I actually have 2 more sessions lined up for next weekend from this.
The guys on the other hand were giving us looks and wanted to watch but tried not to look too interested. It was quite comical actually.
Start with the women. In my experience they are alot more open to it.

Rob, welcome to the group.
Noticed you did the anabolic diet. I am currently doing something very similiar minus the carb weekends. I have the details on my training log. I may look at tweeking mine after a couple weeks, or change to the anabolic diet all together.
Let me know what you think.
Thanks Jake
