7/21/10 Variety Day 55lb. I've decided on Variety days to work on snatching.
55 lb Kettlebell 9 sets of snatches (10R, 10L) 1 minute rest in between 180 snatches. Goal was 10 sets, form was junk due to fatigue 5 minutes walk on treadmill 10 Turkish Getups, (5R, 5L) alternating after each rep. 5 rounds of 20 2 handed swings, 25 seconds rest, 20 1 handed swings (10R, 10L), 25 seconds rest. 200 total swings Picked up my lung and warmed down w/ a 2 and half minute walk.

Neupert's Kettlebell Muscle is similar to Pavel's ETK, in that it involves tough workouts, and they are all laid out for you. There is no guesswork. You just do it. It takes mental toughness. The workouts are chunked down into doable pieces, and the increase in sets and decrease in rest time is well thought out. I like the simple approach using the basic exercises. I think it does a better job than ETK in working the overall body. I always thought ETK didn't hit the lower body enough. Guess we should get a double KB thread going on here to hear other people's experiences. Leon

The double KB work is starting to get hard now... week 6 of the program... high temps and high humidity didn't help.
