Jim, it's the feeling of fatigue where you feel like you are snapping your hips as hard as you can and that bell doesn't want to move with your momentum. I thing one of the weaknesses of Enter the Kettlebell is he doesn't tell you how to improve your snatch numbers. It's like, swing twice, snatch once and you'll get to 200 in 10. After yesterday, no way, not even close.

ETK Heavy Day 28kg 5 Ladders of Clean and Press alternated with Pullups (1,2,3,4,5) Rolled a 10 10 minutes of swings 247 Grip went around 9th minute. After moderate and easy days, I get cocky and think "I need the 32" Then I have heavy day and those extra 25 reps make me think, "not quite yet" I never fail to reach the 5, it's just it feels so heavy by the 4th ladder.

Great job on your heavy day Brian!! I feel same way about the heavy day.. It's a challenge mentally & physically when you get to the 4th ladder. I have done ETK at least 3 times before, starting with a 12kg kettlebell. I have some friends who would like to do it again this fall so, I know I will continue with it then. Keep up the great work!!

5/28/10 ETK Heavy Day
28kg Clean and Press alternated with pullups 5 ladders of 5 (1,2,3,4,5) I really struggled with the last 2 rungs on the 4th and 5th ladder with the pullups. So I did pulled until I stopped moving and then did negatives down.
Rolled a 6 First 4 minutes, 30 seconds on 10 off 5 th minute 20 seconds on 10 off last minute, grip shot, reps of 8 10 seconds off.
