Yeah, I wasn't a fan of clean and jerks when I started, but now I love them.

Close. They were just double kettlebell dead cleans.

Dead cleans are cleaned straight from the floor. They aren't really a deadlift.

I think the numbers on that are pretty close.

Thursday- HEAVY, HEAVY DAY
Jim suprised me with deadlifts today.....it was nice because of the slight burn out I am feeling from the high repetitions I have been doing.

Deadlifts- 265 x 3, 275 x 3, 285 x 3 (285 is the heaviest I have ever deadlifted)

DBL KB Strict Presses- 5 sets of 2 (Double 53 lbs)
Pull-ups 5 sets of 3

Good work- I love deadlifts because even I get to lift some good weight. New guys in the gym always look sheepish when I start deadlifting the weights they're working with (Am only 4ft 11ins)I guess you can really show them how to do it!

Thanks....yes,you don't see many females lifting heavy weights, especially deadlifting. I'm happy to hear I am not the only female who enjoys doing this.

Monday- Ran 2 miles

Tuesday- DBL 53lb Clean and Jerks
One lap around the soccer field (300 yards....I think??)

I did these in ladders. Started with 5 then ran one lap, 4 then ran one lap, 3 and then ran one lap....and so on. (5-4-3-2-1) I did this for two ladders starting with 5. When I finised I decided to do one more. (3-3-2-1) So I did a total of 42 clean and jerks with DBL 53's.

One of the funnest, toughest workouts I've done!!!
