The rain held off so I did get my 5 mi in on 7/13. HOT and humid though.
7/14/10 Ran 1 warm up mile then intervals at the track: 2x400m 2x200m 1x400m 1x200m Cool down mile back to the house
KB workout: more with Lisa's video JM Swings 2x30 20# 2x20 26# 1x15 35# Cleans (each side) 3x5 26# 2x2 35# MP 2x3 20# 4x3 26# tried the 35# and it wouldn't go C&P 2x5 26#

SORE today after that workout yesterday
7/15/10 No KBs today...rest (planning a little for 7/16) Running 4 mi tonight at easy pace.
Can tell I've been practicing the squeeze.

Some light yoga/stretching today. Have an 8 mi long run planned for the morning and my legs were screaming at me last night on that short run. They are needing the rest today.

Back at it today after a rest day on Sun (7/18/10).
7/19/10 Had a hard time mentally getting going this morning. But I knew if I didn't do anything, I'd be feeling guilty all day. The only run (and workout) that you regret is the one you don't do, right?
Finally got out of the house for a slow 5 mi run.
KB workout (needed something where I didn't have to track reps or sets): Baby Bells by Lauren Brooks
halos 20# sumo squat 26# swings 26# Repeat
front squats 26# push ups on toes lat row 26# overhead swings 26# Repeat
Biceps curls 26# tricep extension 20# alternating back lunges 26# clean and press 26# (had to turn these into push press for 2nd time through...upper body was toast and needed the extra help from lower body) side planks 30 sec each side Repeat

7/29/10 workout
I did one of Lisa's workouts that she sent out on her email list a few weeks ago.
JM Used 26#; did 4 rounds in 22:30 with 30 sec rest between round.
Push Press swings one arm rows swings punch press swings front squats (I changed this to cross side lunges) swings All x10
I changed the front squats because I'll be running with my group tonight for 5 mi, 2.5 miles up and incline turning to big hill and back down. I didn't want to wear out my hamstrings/quads any more than would already be used during this workout and worked out the sides of my legs.
GREAT workout! I was pouring sweat...and all in 22:30 (plus extra time for JM).

Thanks, Lisa...you kicked my tail again today too. 
7/21/10 Ran 6 miles at slow pace this morning (very hard after last night's 5 with a BIG hill and bad heat).
Lisa's Workout #3 Used 20# kbs - only made it through 6 times in 20 min...Lisa's class must be TOUGH to do it 12 times!
JM Walking while alternating press x10 each arm Farmers walk 10 paces quickly double suitcase DL x10 Farmers walk x 10 Double suitcase DL x10 Double swingsx10 (never done these before...TOUGH!) Rest - 30 sec

Kettlebell Goddess DVD: JM Windmills 3x4 20# Chest Press 3x6 20# each arm see saw press 2x10 (1st set with 26#, 2nd with 20#) French Press 3x6 20# Crush Curl 2x10 (26# then 20#) Swing, Clean, Snatch x10 each and each side 20# (my snatches are getting better; YEA!) Stretch
4 mi run tonight

Was supposed to run 6 mi this morning at easy pace but the desire for sleep overrode the desire to run. Instead, I did:
Lauren Brooks Ultimate Body Sculpt and Conditioning 40 min workout. GREAT workout. I used 26# for all of it and was a wet noodle by the end.

Ran 7 miles with lots of hills and 2 really long hill climbs.
Modified Lisa's Workout #1 JM All x10; used 26# for all exercises except Snatches - used 20# Cleans Swings slingshot swings punch press swings cross side lunge snatch
Repeated 3 times.

You might want to email her and ask. It was a couple weeks ago that she sent this out, so I don't know if people signing up after that are automatically sent that one or not. Did you receive the free 6 week workout ebook?
