Today I did Lauren Brooks' Baby Bells (pregnancy DVD)...no I'm not pregnant but I thought it would be good as I needed a lighter workout. HA!

I used 20s for halos and triceps press and clean & press (although I did almost one set of 8 presses with the 26).
26s for alternating dips, sumo squats, swings (first set with 35) and can't remember the rest of the exercises.

I got a nice sweaty workout!

I'm REALLY tired today. Went to bed late after watching Grey's Anatomy, woke up during the night around 3 am, then didn't want to get up at 8:30 but had to.....

Firm workout (cardio with some really light dumbbells just to try to bump the cardio up a bit)....didn't have much to put into the workout, but it wasn't a total bust.

Today I did:

JM "with" Lisa
3x10 swings with 26

and worked with Lisa's workshop DVD for TGUs with the 20 and cleans with the 26....I chanced it and used my 35 when she told the folks there to go up to a heavier weight and I could really tell what she was talking about with having to use your hips more to get that big of a weight up.

I ran 3/4 mile (downhill, semi flat, then incline) and walked 1/4 UP hill to my house!!!

Then I did the 3x10 swings (1st set with 26; other 2 with 35); TGUs (first 2 sets with 20; last set with 26),
Lisa's workshop section on presses and did a ton of those with 20s and 26s,
Lauren's 12 min fat blast with 26.

I think I'll sleep good tonight!

Thansk for the good wishes Penny. You're doing some great work with the 35lb and the Military Press. I still have some difficulty with these!

Thanks, Chris!

I had to "test out" my new added strength today with dumbbells. I was curious if I could do overhead presses with a 20lb. I can!!! Very easily and I can even do biceps curls with a 20lb! Before I started KB training, the only thing I could use 20s for was lat rows!!!

JM from Ult Body Sculpt and Conditioning
40 min Sculpt from that DVD using 26# kb for first half, then used 20# or 26# depending on the move and how I felt strengthwise.

Ran 1-3/4 miles (walked the other 1/4 for warmup/cooldown)

Did a few Good mornings with 26# kb.

Will be hitting KBs hard tomorrow.

ETA: I took my monthly measurements today. This month I concentrated on cardio (through the Firm videos, sometimes cardio with KBs, and running/walking) and strength with the KBs. I lost 3.75 inches this month!!! 1 inch in my lower abs, 1 in my hips, 1 in my "muffin top"/upper abs and .5 in my waist (the other 1/4 came from one of my calves). I'm VERY happy to be getting the flab off from the middle like this!
