These kinds of challenges need company.
I'll start tomorrow. I am on day 3 of rest. I'm getting very, very restless.
I feel like some kind of junkie!
I'm going to plan out my reps today. I think I'm going to be a little more methodical this time and vary the training load throughout the week.
I'm going to try and add some pressing in to the mix, maybe some ladders, with different weights or reps. I rarely stick perfectly to any plan, but this will give me a framework to go by.

Nice!
I took a full day off and felt really weird about it. But I didn't know how tired I was until I did nothing. I felt just fine yesterday so I started up. I think mentally I'll have an easier time of it this go round.

350 swings today 1050 for the week so far 8950 to go!
Feeling good. I'm cleaning up my diet this month too (especially compared to last month). Will be exciting to see the results of 10K swings with a clean diet.

Yes taking a day off makes a difference doesn't it!?!?!
Those swing numbers are amazing! I have a way to go. Doing 200 or so total (I have been doing sets at the top of the minute) have been the way I started. I want to keep going at what I have been doing (Enter the Kettlebell) but someday doing a "log" of swings like you and Jim are looks good too.
Thanks for popping by my journal! And, thank you so much for all your work on this board and spreading the word about kettlebells, your videos, and everything! It's been a big help to me this year!

Good job, Lisa! A rest day is always a good idea for the amount of swings we have done in the last 30+ days! Keep up the good work!

Thanks, Lillian!
We have done a lot of work lately. :o)
I did another 200 swings to make 600 today and 1650 total. 8350 to go.
Tomorrow I'm scheduling a rest day. I'm feeling really good but I want to keep it that way so rest is in order.

I really like mixing the swings and presses. I think it makes for a more complete workout. Plus you can can always add in the squat press if you need to get some squats in as well.
Great minds think alike!

350 swings 35lber
Feeling a little burned out this morning. I think I need more rest time between swing work. Working out this morning should give me more time between workouts for tomorrow.
