Just played around with the sandbag today.
Zercher reverse lunges Zercher squats
Shouldering
Nothing major. It was too hot to do too much. 108 yesterday and feels like it again today. We need a break.

Was going to try to get the rest of the workout in this afternoon but a meeting ran late and wasn't able to do it.
Guess it will be tomorrow.

Push ups on KB' handles (heavy on the triceps) 2x3
One arm rows 3x5
Front squats superset with lunges 3x5
Trying to take it easy on the knee until the doc looks at it.

Dead lifting
1x10.. just the bar to warm up 1x5 65 2x3 95 2x2 106 (body weight)
The 106 went up fairly easy. I didn't want to push it past that today. I need to work on form.
Fun stuff though. I haven't done any barbell work in a looong time.

alternated with dead lift practice 70lbs 5x10
Sandbag TGU 2x5
Sandbag overhead hold walks 2x45 seconds, not sure how far.
Good news on the knee front. I do not have a torn cartilage. My knee is aggrevated. There is fluid on the knee. I need to just take it easy and let it heal. I'll be practicing with DL's until it gets better then get back to front squats.

Strength workout
double floor press 26lbers 3x5
alternating press 2x4
Dead lifts
1x6 70lbs 1x5 90lbs 1x2 105lb (body weight) 1x1 125lb 1x1 136lb 1x1 153lb 1.5 bodyweight..
The 136 pull, form was really good. The 153 pull... form was questionable. I felt my shoulders starting to round but kept pulling anyway because I wasn't going to give up. It wasn't an easy lockout.
At least I know my 1 rep max now. It will make the program design for my DL workouts easier. ;o)

That happens.. just like those pesky MP days where the heavy weight feels like a ton of bricks.. 135 will be flying up again in the next workout or two!
