Nice workout with the swings!
Have been meaning to pop in and say that I liked your blog post about corporate gyms, especially the part in the middle about there being no "easy fitness". I have been struggling a bit lately with being not as diligent about my eating, so that was good to read and I try to keep it in mind (as well as this morning, when I had to push myself mentally through that last minute of swings!). Thanks!!!!

Jim, Just saw your question on hands and swings. My hands and grip both are getting tired from all of the swings. I have noticed that they tend to get dry more often; I have been more corn huskers and pumcie stone. Are your any better since your rest day?

Lillian,
My hands are good. I got a nasty blood blister under a callus, that burst and then got chalk dust in it and it got a slight infection. That hurt. It is better now.

Leon,
No challenge for this month. Going to start doing some more deadlifts, but I'm going to keep upping the reps on my ladders until I'm doing them with the 40kg.

Congrats on your challenge results! If I wasn't so fixed right now on getting those Enter the Kettlebell program goals done, I would have joined you...the accountability would be great. I am sure if you keep thinking up challenges like this, there will be one that comes along at the right time!
Thanks for answering my ? about swings. I think I didn't stop to realize the extra work capacity I had just from going from 12kg to the 16kg. I have backed down the volume a bit, and think I will do the top of the minute thing, which I have tried before. It does feel like a good way to measure progress....and when the program calls for a "medium" day I can maybe knock it back to 10-15/top of the min. I can do 20-22 swings in 30 sec when I tried it with the help of my gymboss. Sheesh, no wonder my technique was starting to suck toward my last 3 sets when I was doing 30, (although I did get up to 50 with a 12 kg with a min off but man I need to get my capacity up for the heavier bell!!!). Thanks to your reply I realized that, LOL!
