Thanks. I'd like to work out with the KB's 3xWk and run 3xWk. However I'm already breaking training for a couple of days due to some social commitments. Back to the grindstone on Sunday.

Nice work John. Where do you hold the KBs for your good mornings? Those sprints are a great part of your workout. Leon

Thanks, Leon. About halfway through the intervals I start to really hate 'em but when I finish there's no feeling like it. I tried good mornings first by holding the kb by the horns close to my chest and then by holding it between the legs as if I was going to do a Romanian deadlift. I found that I preferred the latter because it gave me more of a stretch of the hamstrings.

Switched out some exercises for diversity and to give my shoulders a little break.
Windmills 3x3 Suitcase Kickstand Lunge 3x10 (l,r) Double KB Military Press 3x10 Double KB Floor Press 3x10 Good Morning 3x10
Snatches 1x@10 (l,r) (lost count) 1 Arm Swings 1x15 (l,r) Bat Swings w/Parachute 2x5 (l,r)
Tweaked my left elbow, probably swinging the bat. Slight strain so I'll probably shut down the KB's until Saturday.

Back from the break. Felt sluggish today; probably from all the mashed potatoes. My elbow is pain free so I decided to test it today. Early afternoon-- A few snatches--right side is good, left side iffy, but no pain in elbow. 2 Arm Swings 10x30sec--rest 10x30sec btn swings.
Evening-- Intervals 1200meters warmup on 400m track. 400m hard/400m easy x4. 400m cooldown.

Today I was going to practice snatches but after 2 sets I could feel some discomfort in my hands from the handles turning agains the skin so I switched to 1 arm swings. 2 Arm Swings 1x10 Snatches 2x10 (l,r) 1 Arm Swings 3x15 (l,r)

Windmills 3x3 Suitcase Kickstand Lunge 3x10 (l,r) Double KB Military Press 3x10 Double KB Floor Press 3x10 Good Morning 3x10 Snatches 2x10 (l,r) The limiting factor for me now on the snatches are my hands. The twisting of the KB handle is taking it's toll on my hands. I may have to soak them in Palmolive.

Today I stareted to todintervals but the hamstrings were a little tight so I modified it to, for lack of a better term, a fahrtlek. Instead of sprinting all out I just ran slightly faster than the recovery laps.
1200m warmup on 400mtrack 4x400m harder alternating w/ 4x400 (easier) 400m cooldown

I just received two 53 lb KB's that I had ordered. I took them out of the boxes and dragged them out into the garage. That was my workout.
Today
TGU x3 (l,r) 35 lb Seesaw Press x10 (l,r) 35 lb Double KB Front Squat x10 35 lb Renegade Row x11 (l,r) 35 lb Good Morning x10 53 lb All done as circuit x3
2 Arm Swings 4x15 53 lb
The swing feels real good with the 53 lb kb. The 35 lb kb was not big enough for me to really feel it in the hamstrings. Lifting the 53lb kb is another story. I'll be doing swings for awhile before I'll want the bell hovering above my head.

Hey John, congrats on the new bells. You'll pick up the strength quickly if you're handling them often in your workouts. Like you said, just dragging them around gives you a workout.
